Keep backup diesel ready for the blackout.

Standby diesel for data-center generators sits idle for months or years — then must start perfectly on the first second of an outage. Continuous circulation polishing removes the water, microbial slime and gum that build up in idle tanks, so emergency fuel stays within specification and the genset starts when the grid does not.

Direct Answer

Diesel fuel polishing for data-center backup generators. Continuous circulation polishing removes the free water, microbial slime and oxidised gum that accumulate in standby tanks — the common causes of failed start-ups — so emergency fuel stays within specification and ready to run during blackouts, load tests and emergency-power audits.

Data-Center Problems We Address

What Goes Wrong in Standby Fuel.

01
Degraded Idle Fuel
Backup tanks wait months or years between outages — water condenses, microbes grow and gum forms exactly where fuel must work on demand.
02
Failed Start-Ups
Slime and sludge block fuel lines and filters at the moment of demand — the genset that must start in 10 seconds does not start, and the data hall goes dark.
03
Injector Damage
Modern gensets run precision common-rail injection — abrasive particulates and water cause injector wear, rough running and derated output.
04
Audit Failures
Monthly load tests and emergency-power readiness audits fail on water content or cleanliness — polishing keeps tanks within specification year-round.
Where Filtration Belongs

Points of Defence in the Standby Chain.

POINT 1
Main Standby Tank Loop
Continuous polishing of the bulk standby inventory — the core Jingyuan duty, keeping idle fuel within spec over years of waiting.
POINT 2
Day-Tank Circulation
Side-stream polishing of the generator day tank keeps the last line of fuel clean between deliveries and start-ups.
POINT 3
At Fuel Delivery
Filtering incoming deliveries stops new contamination entering storage — defence begins before the fuel is yours.

For data centers, Jingyuan systems are part of a fuel-readiness strategy — the standby tank is an insurance asset, and polishing is what keeps it claim-ready.

  • 1
    Standby / day-tank fuel

Long idle periods let water condense and microbes grow.

  • 2
    CIS membrane separation

Strips free water and captures particulates that foul injectors.

  • 3
    Gas-pulse regeneration

Membrane surface is cleared automatically — no element change-outs.

  • 4

INTENDED
Diesel & biodiesel blends
Diesel fuel, and specified diesel / biodiesel blends (B20–B50 evaluated as diesel / biodiesel blend filtration applications).
REMOVED
Free & emulsified water
Physical separation removes free water (≥95%). Emulsified water treatment depends on fuel condition — confirm against test data.
NOT REMOVED
Dissolved water · gasoline
Dissolved water is not removed; these are not fuel-drying systems. Gasoline and other low-flash-point media (flash point < 38°C) are excluded.
FAQ

Data-center fuel — common questions.

Why polish data-center standby fuel?

Backup diesel sits idle for months or years between blackouts. Water condenses with every temperature cycle, microbes grow at the water–fuel interface and gum forms — exactly the contamination that disables a standby genset at the moment of demand.

Does polishing interrupt the generator?

No. Systems circulate fuel in a side stream, so the generator keeps running (and keeps the data hall powered) while polishing continues. Installation ties into existing tank connections.

What about dissolved water?

The CIS membrane removes free and emulsified water (≥95%). Dissolved water is not removed — relevant only where a tight fuel spec demands fuel drying below saturation.

Which Jingyuan systems suit a data center?

JY-DX5 (5 m³/h compact skid) is the primary choice for data-center backup genset tanks. JY-DX40 (40 m³/h) covers multi-unit campuses and larger standby inventories, JY-DL60 (60 m³/h) serves hyperscale, high-throughput sites, and the wheeled JY-G100 rotates between small tanks where one fixed system per tank is not justified.

Can one system serve several standby tanks?

Yes — fixed systems serve multiple tanks via a circulation manifold, and the mobile JY-G100 can be wheeled between tanks in rotation across a campus.

Does polishing help with load tests and fuel audits?

Clean fuel reduces filter plugging and injector stress during monthly load tests, and keeps tanks within water and cleanliness specification for emergency-power readiness audits — the failure points of most standby programs.

Questions We Can Help Answer

Real Data-Center Questions.

Our gensets never run — is the fuel still degrading?
Yes. Water condenses with every temperature cycle, and microbes grow at the water–fuel interface whether or not the engine runs. Idle tanks degrade fastest.
Fixed or mobile polishing for our site?
Fixed skid (DX5/DX40) where tanks are permanent; wheeled G100 rotated between tanks where one system can serve the whole campus on a schedule.
How does polishing fit our maintenance calendar?
Continuous side-stream circulation runs alongside monthly load tests and emergency-power audits — keeping tanks within spec is no longer a pre-audit scramble.
Can we add polishing without stopping generation?
Yes. Systems circulate fuel in a side stream — the generator keeps running while polishing continues, and installation ties into existing tank connections.
