Distributed fleet & power assurance across six branches.

A large multinational enterprise in West Africa deployed six JY-DX5 compact purification units — one per branch — building a "terminal purification barrier" between storage tanks and 200+ vehicles and 50+ generator sets. Customer maintenance records report injector failures down 70% and fuel-related unplanned downtime down 85%.

Direct Answer

A large multinational enterprise in West Africa deployed six JY-DX5 compact purification units — one per branch — protecting 200+ heavy trucks and 50+ generator sets. Customer maintenance records report injector failures down 70%, fuel-related unplanned downtime down 85%, onboard filter element life extended from roughly 3 months to 7.5 months, and annual consumables cost down approximately 60%.

Project at a Glance

The Project.

A large multinational enterprise in West Africa — active in energy, transport and communications — operates six branch companies across different provinces, running a fleet of 200+ heavy trucks and engineering vehicles and 50+ large diesel generator sets, each branch with its own storage tanks.

The company imported six JY-DX5 compact diesel purification units, one per branch, to build a "terminal purification barrier" — storage-tank circulation polishing plus pre-fueling filtration — so that every drop of diesel entering an engine or generator meets one standard, regardless of which of the ten-plus local suppliers it came from.

Customer Background

Six Branches, One Blind Spot.

The company is managed centrally from headquarters but operated locally by each branch. Because the branches sit in remote regions, each independently procures diesel — from more than ten different suppliers, with wildly varying quality.

For headquarters, this created a systemic management blind spot: no unified fuel-quality standard, no common purification procedure, and no way to monitor the real cleanliness of fuel at each branch. Vehicle and generator reliability varied site by site — and nobody at headquarters could see why.

The Requirement

One fuel-quality standard across all six branches — protecting 200+ vehicles and 50+ generators with equipment that local staff can operate themselves.

Pain Points

Four Problems to Solve.

01
Uncontrolled Fuel Sources
Each branch purchased diesel independently from 10+ suppliers. Fuel in remote regions frequently carried visible debris and trace free water — cleanliness varied enormously, with no group-wide standard possible.
02
Expensive Precision Failures
Poor-quality diesel caused repeated damage to generator injectors and truck fuel systems. Each repair was costly — and precision spares had to be shipped from overseas, taking weeks, crippling operational efficiency.
03
Critical Power Risk
With an unstable local grid, diesel generators were the only power guarantee. A fuel-related generator shutdown stopped offices, production lines or communication towers — with indirect losses reaching tens of thousands of dollars per hour.
04
Quality Management Blindness
Headquarters could not monitor actual fuel cleanliness at each branch, and had no unified purification standard or operating procedure — a systemic gap in energy-quality management.
The Jingyuan Solution

A Terminal Purification Barrier.

Six JY-DX5 units — one per branch — establishing a clean-fuel barrier between each branch's storage tanks and its end equipment.

01
Terminal Purification Barrier
A clean-fuel barrier between the branch storage tank and end equipment — every drop of diesel entering a vehicle or generator passes the same standard, whatever its source.
02
Membrane Dual Removal
The rigid composite polymer membrane is oleophilic and hydrophobic — intercepting particulate and removing trace free water simultaneously, in one pass.
03
Micron-Scale Precision at 5 m³/h
Fine particles that wear injectors are intercepted effectively even at full flow — precision and throughput balanced for point-of-use duty.
04
Local Operation & Maintenance
Compact and simple to operate — branch staff run daily maintenance independently after basic training, with no need for specialist purification technicians.

Each unit performs storage-tank circulation polishing on the branch's tank inventory and pre-fueling filtration at the point of dispensing — two layers of defence at each site.

Why JY-DX5

The Selection Logic.

SIZE
Compact Design
Fits the limited space at branch sites — no dedicated purification room required.
SCALE
Modular Deployment
Each branch runs independently — no cross-site interference, faults isolated to one site.
STD
One Standard Everywhere
Six branches, one equipment model — elements, consumables and operating procedures fully identical.
FIT
Plug-and-Play Installation
Short installation period, no major modification to existing storage and fueling infrastructure.

01
Fuel-System Failures Down
Branch repair reports show a clear drop in diesel-system repair requests — injector replacement frequency reduced by 70%.
02
Generator Reliability Up
Fuel-related unplanned downtime events fell 85% — critical-power reliability fundamentally improved.
03
Local Maintenance, No Dispatch
Simple operation let branch staff handle daily maintenance — headquarters specialist dispatches fell by 80%.
04
Quality Management Made Visible
Fuel cleanliness standardised and confirmed at every branch — group energy-quality control moved from blind spot to visible and managed.

Data note: values on this page are drawn from the customer's branch maintenance records for this project (Case DS17, updated 2025) and are presented as reported. They describe this deployment and are not a general performance guarantee — actual results depend on fuel condition, contamination load and site configuration.

Customer Voice

From the Operator.

"We used to spend our time chasing mechanical failures across regional branches — then we found the root cause was diesel quality. The JY-DX5 is a very practical solution — moderate footprint, reliable performance. After equipping all six branches, fuel-related downtime complaints dropped sharply, and management became far easier."

— Director of Asset & Equipment Management, large enterprise, West Africa
