Bulk diesel storage that doesn't go bad.

Fuel filtration and polishing systems for fuel depots, tank farms, blending terminals and bulk diesel storage. Sediment, water and oxidised gum accumulate in long-term storage — continuous circulation purification keeps stored fuel within spec without batch treatment or disposable cartridges.

Direct Answer

Diesel fuel filtration and polishing for fuel depots, tank farms, blending terminals and bulk storage. Continuous circulation purification removes the sediment, free water and oxidised gum that accumulate during long-term storage, keeping fuel within specification without batch treatment or disposable filter cartridges. Systems are configured from 5 m³/h to 60 m³/h to match inventory and turnover.

Storage Problems We Address

What Goes Wrong in Bulk Storage.

01
Water Accumulation
Condensation and ingress introduce free water — the starting point of microbial growth and corrosion in diesel tanks.
02
Sediment & Sludge
Rust, tank deposits and suspended solids settle over long residence time and resuspend during transfer and dispatch.
03
Oxidised Gum
Diesel oxidises during storage, forming gum and varnish that blind conventional cartridge filters and foul injectors.
04
Off-Spec at Dispatch
Fuel that met receipt specification can leave the tank out of spec — cleanliness failures surface at the point of custody transfer.
Where Filtration Belongs

Three Points of Defence.

POINT 1
At Fuel Receiving
Filtration at the receiving point intercepts contamination before it enters your storage inventory — the cheapest place to stop it.
POINT 2
In the Storage Tank
Tank circulation and polishing on stored inventory — the core Jingyuan duty, keeping fuel within spec throughout the residence period.
POINT 3
Before Dispatch
Final filtration at loading protects custody-transfer quality and downstream customer equipment.

For large fuel storage facilities, Jingyuan systems are used as part of a fuel cleanliness management strategy rather than relying only on the final engine filter.

How It Works

Circulation purification for storage.

Bulk diesel storage circulation purification process diagram
  • 1
    Stored / blended diesel

Long residence time and blending invite sediment and gum.

  • 2
    CIS membrane separation

Continuous loop stripping of free water and particulates.

  • 3
    Gas-pulse regeneration

Automatic surface clearing sustains flux without element swaps.

  • 4
    On-spec fuel out

Dispatched fuel meets cleanliness targets consistently.

FAQ

Bulk storage — common questions.

Batch or continuous?

Both. Systems run as a continuous circulation loop on the tank farm or as batch polishing during transfer and loading.

Does it handle oxidized gum?

Gas-pulse regeneration clears the membrane of sludgy deposits that would blind a cartridge — the dominant failure mode in stored fuel.

Energy use at depot scale?

The DL60 is driven by a customer-supplied pump through the existing pipeline pressure (inlet 0.2–0.4 MPa, DN100 PN16 main-line interface; no onboard pump is included), requiring low auxiliary energy beyond backwash gas, suited to high-throughput depot duty.

Which Jingyuan systems suit a fuel depot?

JY-DX40 (40 m³/h skid) and JY-DL60 (60 m³/h large-flow hub) are the primary depot choices. JY-Q325 serves remote or temporary terminals where a containerised, no-civil-works installation is required. DX40 and Q325 ship with explosion-proof motors and electrical switches as standard.

Can one system serve multiple tanks?

Yes — fixed systems serve multiple tanks via a circulation manifold, and the mobile JY-G100 can be wheeled between tanks in rotation where a dedicated system per tank is not justified.

Can the systems handle biodiesel blends in storage?

Biodiesel blends such as B20 / B30 / B50 can be evaluated for fuel-quality management — water management, particulate contamination and storage contamination. Blend compatibility is confirmed according to your fuel specification.

Questions We Can Help Answer

Real Depot Questions.

What flow rate is appropriate for a 500 m³ or 1,000 m³ tank?
Sizing guideline: circulate the full volume in 4–24 hours depending on fuel condition. We confirm against your inventory and turnover.
Should filtration be fixed, containerised or mobile?
Depends on site permanence: fixed skid for permanent tank farms, containerised Q325 for remote terminals, mobile G100 for multi-tank rotation.
Where should filtration be installed in the transfer process?
Three defence points: fuel receiving, storage tank circulation, and before dispatch. Most value comes from the storage-tank loop.
How can stored diesel be kept within spec during long residence?
Continuous circulation polishing manages water, sediment and gum accumulation throughout the storage period — not just at dispatch.
